Chocolate Stains

!±8± Chocolate Stains

Almost everyone in the world loves chocolate! As much as chocolate tastes good, it can be difficult to remove from clothing, furniture, or even carpets! There are many ways to remove chocolate stains, but the easiest way would be to follow these easy steps.

There are two methods in order to remove the chocolate stains. First we will follow the method that is most commonly used. In order to remove the stain, you first want to remove as much chocolate as you can by hand without making the stain bigger. Next, mix a spoonful of neutral detergent in a cup of warm water. After mixing the detergent, dab the spot with the detergent several times. Then, apply clean water with a damp cloth. Following those steps, make a mixture of household ammonia with water. After the mixture is complete, blot the ammonia and water mixture to the stain and then again dab with clear water. These steps should be repeated until the stain is removed.

The other method that is used to remove chocolate stains is as easy as the first method. First let the chocolate harden to the place where the stain remains. Next, scrape off the hardened chocolate with a butter knife, or a similar knife that will not cut fabric while trying to remove the stain. If the stain is small, apply hot water on the stain until it disappears. These easy steps will help remove that nasty chocolate stain that you thought you would not be able to remove!
